What is your refund and cancellation policy?
Our program is month-to-month, with zero long-term commitments—because commitment issues are for your ex, not your ED meds. Here’s how refunds and cancellations work:
1. Not Medically Eligible?
If a licensed provider decides, based on new labs or unexpected health factors after at least one telehealth consult, that you’re not a candidate, we’ll cancel your program right away. 🚫 No refunds for prior months.
2. Cancel Anytime (Within the Month)
Haven’t had your consult for this month yet? Cancel and get a full refund for the current billing cycle. 🚫 Still no refunds for prior months.
Will My Info Stay Private?
Absolutely. Your secrets are safe with us—no awkward pharmacy line or nosy neighbors here. Bonerpills is 100% HIPAA-compliant and built with bank-level security to protect your sensitive info.
We don’t play around with your privacy (just your performance). Your medical records, prescriptions, and personal details stay locked down tighter than your bedroom door on date night.

Do I Need Lab Work Before Starting?
Nope. You don’t need labs before your first visit. On your initial consult, your licensed provider will review your health history, goals, and order any labs needed to make sure the program and meds are right for you.

Great. Upload them to your patient portal or email them to [email protected] and we’ll add them to your chart for review.

What Happens After I Finish the Intake Form?
First off, nice work. If you’re eligible, here’s how it goes down:
1. Pick Your Visit Type
• Book a consult with your provider, or skip the video (if your state allows).
2. Start Your Subscription
• Choose your monthly plan, pay, and create a password (your username is your email).
3. Complete Your Health Intake
• Fill out your initial health history form right after signup (or check your email for the link: app.bonerpills.com).
• The sooner you complete it, the sooner we get to work.
4. Meet Your Provider
• In your first visit, we’ll talk goals, review your history, and order any necessary labs.
• If safe and appropriate, your provider will write a personalized prescription plan—plus give lifestyle tips to help you hit your goals.
5. Get Ongoing Support
• Monthly check-ins (at least at the start) keep everything on track.
• We’ll monitor progress, labs, and make adjustments so you get results.

Do You Take Insurance?
Not right now. Insurance doesn’t cover virtual visits for our program (yet).
The good news? You’ll know exactly what you’re paying for—no surprise bills, no waiting on hold with your insurance company.
We keep it simple, upfront, and transparent so you can focus on results, not red tape.
Who Qualifies for Weight Loss Medications?
We can’t guarantee prescriptions for everyone, but here’s the general playbook:
✅ You’re 18 or older.
✅ You meet criteria based on your weight, BMI, and health history.
✅ Typically, this includes:
• BMI over 25 (overweight)
• Maintenance therapy: BMI over 22 with a history of obesity or being overweight
• Current BMI under 27 but previously on a GLP-1 in the past 12 months
Your provider will review your full health profile to decide if medication is safe and right for you. No gimmicks, no guesswork.
How old do I have to be to participate ?
At this time, patients have to be at least 18 years old to participate in the program.
Who Should Skip GLP-1 Medications?
GLP-1s aren’t for everyone. If any of these apply, your provider likely won’t prescribe a GLP-1 weight loss medication:
1. You’re pregnant, breastfeeding, or actively trying to get pregnant
2. End-stage kidney disease (on or near dialysis)
3. End-stage liver disease (cirrhosis)
4. Active or past eating disorders (bulimia, anorexia, etc.)
5. Current suicidal thoughts or a history of attempts
6. Cancer (active diagnosis or treatment)
7. Current or past pancreatitis
8. Organ transplant history with anti-rejection meds
9. Severe GI issues (gastroparesis, inflammatory bowel disease)
10. Family or personal history of medullary thyroid cancer or MEN2
⚠️ This isn’t a full list. Your provider will review your entire health history to keep you safe and make the right call.
Do You Offer Maintenance Therapy?
Yep! We offer maintenance therapy for most patients. The only folks who don’t qualify are those with a BMI under 22—not because we don’t want to help, but because for that group, it’s safer to be managed in-person at a physical clinic.
To qualify for maintenance therapy, you’ll need to:
• Have a previous diagnosis of obesity (BMI > 30) or overweight (BMI > 27)
• Have been on a GLP-1 medication in the past 12 months
What If My BMI Drops Below 25?
First off, congrats—that’s progress worth celebrating. 🎉
If your BMI falls below 25, your provider will re-check if you still need GLP-1 medication. In many cases, this means:
• You may not need the medication anymore
• Your insurance might stop covering it
That said, some patients still qualify for maintenance therapy even with a lower BMI. Your provider will make the call based on your overall health history, goals, and safety.
Do All Plans Include Prescriptions & Meds?

Some medications may be compounded (custom-made by a pharmacy) due to shortages or individual needs. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved but are prepared by licensed pharmacies under strict safety standards.

How Long Until My Meds Arrive?
Once your intake and health history are reviewed and approved, your prescription heads straight to the pharmacy. From there, your meds are shipped discreetly to your door in 3–5 business days.
